This is a relatively quiet area of the Gulf Coast, with few tourist attractions, the two biggest assets to the area, are the seemingly endless gorgeous, white sandy coastline and an abundance of quality golf courses. The most popular beaches in the area are Manasota beach and Venice beach.

Manasota boasts a huge expanse of white sand, with a winding boardwalk and several picnic areas, while Venice beach is famous for it’s wide variety of unusual fossils and shells.
