See Seattle with the Pillinger experts
According to the Visit Seattle website, the city “is an exciting urban city surrounded by unmatched natural beauty” and we tend to agree.
Located in the Pacific Northwest of the USA, Seattle contains numerous acres of parkland and is surrounded by water, mountains and forests. It’s the state of Washington’s largest and most populous city and it is home to a large technology industry, with Microsoft having their head office in the city.
The city is renowned for rainfall, and coffee (it’s the home of Starbucks), however luckily many of it’s best attractions can be enjoyed no matter what the weather, so feel free to visit at any time of the year! You can take a trip up the Space Needle to get a birds eye view over the city, go down to the Pike Place Market overlooking the Elliot Bay waterfront or visit the Museum of Flight to check out vintage planes and spacecrafts! There is definitely plenty to do in this rainy city in the Washington state.
