Some must-see areas include the Blue Lagoon in Nusa Ceningan, with its picture-perfect crystal-blue waters and legendary cliff jumping.
The sacred and secret canyon of Sukawati, near Pura Beji Guwang is a sight not to be missed. It’s amazing visual colours throughout the canyon and uniquely shaped rocks will have you in awe.

Bali is well known for its unique culture and spectacular temples. Various forms of dance and music have made Bali’s arts and culture scene one of the most diverse and unique in the world.
Each village in Bali tends to have three temples which follow the placement of how they view the universe and their religion. It is truly a unique place, with beautiful temples at the top of mountain peaks and numerous festivals throughout the year.
3 Surfers Paradise
Bali is a surfer’s paradise! Since being exposed to the western wave riding culture in the 1930’s, Bali’s surf scene has increased massively. Most of the beaches around Bali are strictly for pro surfers due to the reefs, but there is something for all levels when learning at one of Bali’s surf schools!
If you’re a foodie (who isn’t?!) then Bali is the place for you! Due to its rich, fertile soil and amazing recipes, the people of Bali have created distinctive cuisines to tantalise the taste buds.
You can enjoy traditional Balinese food on the popular street food stalls or enjoy a more opulent experience in one of the many fine dining restaurants.
For people looking for a taste of home, there is no shortage of restaurants from American to Italian to Greek! Just remember to wear loose trousers!

When travelling to different destinations, travellers often worry about the local people and how they treat and interact with travellers. This certainly isn’t a concern in Bali, as the Balinese people are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet.
The locals are often interested in engaging in conversations with tourists, and the warmth and friendliness have made tourists feel at home for decades. Their culture and way of life is to live in harmony and to never get angry, making it a harmonious island to visit!
