FLIGHT TIMES & ISSUING OF TICKETS

Flight times shown are provisional and may be subject to change, as per the tour operator’s or our booking conditions. It is very important that flight details are checked 48 hours prior to your outbound and inbound journey as changes to flight times may take place shortly before you depart or during your time abroad. Flight Tickets are generally ticketed 6-8 weeks before departure. You may request your tickets to be ticketed prior to this time-frame, as long as full payment has been paid. Please be aware once flights are ticketed, you are subject to the airline’s re-issuing fees and fare difference if you need to make any changes. If your departure is no later than 11 months away from the date of booking, your airline reference and flight times will be confirmed at the time of booking. If your booking contains flights with a departure date beyond 11 months from the time of booking, your airline reference and flight details will be sent to you no less than 12 weeks before your departure date. Most airlines charge for selecting your seats, however some airlines do offer it complimentary. If you are flying with Virgin Atlantic, you can select your seats straight after booking using the airline reference provided in the notes section of your holiday summary. Most other airlines require tickets to be paid in full and issued before you can access your airline reservation. If this is something you want to look into then please let us know.

FLIGHT SCHEDULE CHANGES

Prices are only guaranteed for scheduled flight bookings once the final balance has been paid. Though very rare, your flight price is subject to surcharge on items such as fuel, airport fees or government imposed increases. If surcharges are imposed you will normally be given at least seven days notice. Whilst all airlines would take reasonable care to ensure any schedule changes are minimal, it is common for various reason that such changes may take place. All flight schedules are therefore subject to change outside of the control of PILLINGER WORLD TRAVEL LTD.

VEHICLE HIRE

You must ensure that the Main driver’s full name is specified at the time of booking. This should be checked correctly on your booking confirmation as well as checking that all vehicle inclusions are as booked. If in the event of any changes, name changes are not possible on car hire bookings. Therefore a new car will be required to be booked at the new cost and your original car hire booking may be subject to a cancellation fee. On car collection, the named driver on the booking must present both of the following in their own name: A credit card for security deposit and a full valid Driving license plastic card containing a photograph of the named driver. Debit Cards and paper driving licenses are not accepted. All of our vehicle hire bookings come with fully insurance unless otherwise specified.
