Italy

Italy can only be described as a blissful masterpiece. From the ancient cities and mystical towns scattered amongst the rugged landscape to the glitz and glamour of the cosmopolitan resorts along the Amalfi coast, jaw-dropping scenery awaits at every turn.

The coastline is stunning as are the great lakes, the largest of which is Lake Garda at 51km long and reaching 20km wide, where charming towns, rural vineyards and glistening waterfronts are in abundance. Even though Italy is famous for its sophistication and world-renowned cuisine, a slice of traditional pizza in a rustic trattoria is a must.

Avg. Temperature:

* Based on average Rome weather

Due to its’ length the climate in Italy can vary quite drastically between the North and South of the country, however, throughout the majority of the country the summers are warm and dry with not too much rain, with temperatures tipping 30°c in certain places.

Although, the weather is the most desirable during summer, overcrowding can be an issue during the peak summer months, so spring is a viable option as there is still plenty of sunshine and the temperatures are little more comfortable for exploring the plethora of Italy’s attractions.

Be aware when visiting too far out of the summer months, however, as beaches, swimming pools, and attraction do shut down between November and March, and we’d advise speak to one of our travel experts before booking to make sure.
