Emerald Island is a gated resort in Kissimmee, less than 2 miles from US192 and close to Walt Disney World, with easy access to the I-4 for Universal, SeaWorld, and other Orlando attractions. The community features privately owned rental villas ranging from 3 to 7 bedrooms, many with south or west-facing private pools, spas, and well-equipped games rooms, often overlooking conservation land or lakes. Town homes are also available, suitable for couples or small families, though they lack games rooms and private pools. All guests have complimentary access to resort facilities, including a clubhouse with a cybercafé, convenience store, gym, sauna, steam room, and lounge area. Outdoors, there is a heated swimming pool, separate hot tub, licensed poolside Tiki bar, tennis and volleyball courts, picnic and BBQ areas, and a children's play area. The resort's 11-acre woodland offers walking and jogging trails for wildlife viewing. The clubhouse staff provide local information, attraction tickets, and organise activities such as karaoke and movie nights. Emerald Island has 24-hour manned security at the entrance. Nearby amenities include Walmart on Old Lake Wilson Road, Rolling Oaks Commons with Target, Ross, and family restaurants like Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, and Longhorn Steak House. Golfers can enjoy courses such as Mystic Dunes, Orange Lake, Celebration, Falcon's Fire, Highlands Reserve, and six courses at Walt Disney World Resort.
